Description

Colombia Nariño Aponte Coffee

Colombia Nariño Aponte is a specialty honey-processed coffee grown at 1,525 meters in the highlands of Nariño, Colombia. Produced by the Inga people, descendants of the Inca Empire, this coffee represents generations of farming knowledge and cultural resilience.

A Craft Coffee with Distinct Origins

This lot is dried on patios for 20 to 45 days, a method enhanced by the region’s cool winds. The slow, even drying process ensures maximum flavor development. Thanks to this careful method, the coffee expresses a uniquely sweet and fruit-forward profile.

Tasting Notes

Expect a beautifully layered cup with:

  • Silky vanilla sweetness

  • Deep blackberry richness

  • Vibrant raspberry and cherry highlights

The honey process preserves natural sugars, offering a smooth body with delicate complexity.

Recommended Brewing Methods

To enjoy Colombia Nariño Aponte at its best:

  • Pour-over: Highlights fruity acidity and clean finish

  • Espresso: Delivers syrupy, berry-forward shots

  • French press: Brings out a fuller body and caramel-like richness

More Than Just a Cup

This limited-release Bodega Reserva coffee honors the heritage of Nariño and the skilled farmers who cultivate it. It’s not only flavorful — it’s a reflection of sustainability, tradition, and care in every step of production.
